Basic Face Treatments.

Everyone should have a face cleansing routine; so if you don't have one yet, this is for you.

Mornings:
-Cleanse your face with a cleanser. It is much better than using normal soap. If you have oily skin, use an oil-free one.

-Tone your face with a toner to shrink pores and tighten your skin. Toners also remove all traces of dirt, make-up or cleanser that remain after cleansing.
Be careful! DO NOT USE A TONER THAT CONTAINS ALCOHOL because: alcohols evaporate easily, taking water from the surface of the skin which obviously causes the skin to dry A LOT. When the skin is dry, it becomes tight. So not only will it make your skin dry, but it will also cause oilier skin. (because the alcohol would have sucked all of the oil from the skin; but your skin needs some of this oil).

-Moisturize (you can either use a day moisturizing face cream/gel that contains SPF (protection from the sun) or a moisturizer and use sunblock separately)

At night:
-Remove your make up with make up remover (i recommend L'Oreal) or wipes.
-Cleanse your face
-Apply toner
-Apply night cream or moisturizing cream that DOES NOT CONTAIN SPF.

Quick Tip: If your pores look big, get an ice cube and pass it all over your face. this will make you feel fresh and make your pores smaller.

Once or Twice a week: Exfoliate. This will deeply clean your face.

I've heard a lot of good things about The Clinique Three Step System but i haven't tried it yet. A lot of people recommend it. Here's a picture of it ;)

Hope this helped!
